Monitoring and Assessment

  • AMFMU judiciously comply with regulatory procedures in accordance with relevant federal and State guidelines. Continuous and progressive monitoring and assessment are conducted to evaluate forest conditions within the AMFMU, including:
  • Reduced Impact Logging (RIL) performance and inspection of the logging area
  • Environmental Monitoring Report and Environmental Compliance Assessment
  • High Conservation values
  • Environmental and social impact assessment
  • Yield of forest production, costs and productivity of forest management
  • Composition and observed changes in the fauna and flora
  • Growth rates, regeneration and condition of the forest
  • Monitoring results are analyzed, and necessary reviews are incorporated into the implementation and revision of the Forest Management Plan (FMP) to ensure continuous improvement.
